Inder Jain
Chief Executive Officer
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Inder was appointed CEO of Slickstitch in 2006.
Inder is committed to helping the business grow and develop, and has introduced a range of new technologies and processes which have enabled Slickstitch to keep ahead of the competition.
He is a firm believer in continuous improvement, and Inder’s passion for driving innovation and growth has seen Slickstitch become a leader in the embellishment industry, with a strong presence in both the domestic and international markets.
Bob Smith
Non Executive
Bob has had an extensive career as a Managing Director across companies that supply the Automotive and Marine sector, as well as having held a pan European role with a large first tier automotive supplier. With over 40 years working in the industry, 30 of which have been at executive level. He has been a board member of Wolverhampton Homes and had a number of advisory / non exec roles across industries as diverse as manufacturing, medical devices, brewing, Food and control systems. At Slickstitch , Bob acts as a sounding board advisor, chair to the management meetings and support to the senior management team.
Kelwin Heighton
Director Of Schoolwear
Kelwin graduated with ACMA, Post Grad Management from Kellogg College and has worked within the textile industry for twenty years.
He worked as the Northern European Accountant for VF Corporation which looked after apparel and footwear brands such as Wrangler, Jansport and North Face.
Kelwin also brings to Slickstitch his ten years’ experience in the schoolwear market and five years as owner of his own garment decoration business.
Pete Gwilt
Head Of Operations
Pete joined Slickstitch in 2020 and has over 20 years of Manufacturing Experience in a broad range of industries in the UK.
He has held senior roles within the automotive industry and is now bringing his wealth of process & engineering knowledge to Operations.
Pete is responsible for all aspects of Plant & Operations at Slickstitch.
Mona Kaufmann
Head of Production
Mona joined Slickstitch in 2020 as Production Manager, bringing with her 25 years of management experience.
She has held senior roles in the automotive industry and brings with her a broad depth of production knowledge and leadership skills.
Mona is responsible for all of Production at Slickstitch and leads a team of over 300 operatives. She is key to supporting Operations at Slickstitch.
Matthew Sparks
Head of IT
With over 35 business experience, Matthew joined Slickstitch in 2022 as Head of IT.
Matthew has worked for several major UK retailers in senior positions covering IT Services, Operations, Programme Management, Strategy and IT Financial management. With extensive experience of warehouse, EPoS, ERP and middleware platforms, Matthew is driving the IT function’s service.
Rachel Milner-Butler
Head of Customer Experience
Rachel is a Chartered Manager who joined Slickstitch in 2022 as our Head of Customer Experience.
She has over 31 years’ experience within Customer Services, 19 of these within Senior Management roles reviewing service and process.
Rachel will be responsible for setting the overall vision and strategy of the customer service team, whilst leading a positive customer experience culture.
Paul Spires
Interim Finance Director
Paul is a Business Advisor and Finance Director (FD) who has spent 25+ years working with dynamic, entrepreneurial businesses, providing practical hands-on assistance to ensure that they have the right strategy, financial reporting, processes and controls in place to underpin rapid growth and maximise shareholder value.
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Corporate Financier, recent roles have included FD of Light Source Design, one of the UK’s leaders in the Design and build of fibre optic networks.
Tracey Carlisle
B2B Customer Service Manager
Tracey joined Slickstitch in 2020 having worked in the textile industry during her time at Fruit of the Loom. She brings 28+ years experience with a proven track record of implementing and driving process & initiatives that deliver winning strategies to improve service levels.
At Slick Stich, Tracey is responsible for leading our Customer Service Team, championing the voice of the customer to deliver service excellence.
Amy Mattox
Retail Team Manager
Amy joined Slickstitch in 2020 and has quickly grown and progressed with the Business. She brings multiple years of Customer Service experience and has helped add a fresh creative dynamic to the Business.
Amy is responsible for leading our Retail Team which is made up of Account Managers, Designers and our in-house Photography Studio.
She is passionate about providing customer excellence, maximising sales and developing innovative ideas.
Faisal Saeed
Group Financial Controller
Faisal is Group Management Accountant and has over 15 years experience within Retail, Manufacturing and servicing sectors.
Faisal is a Graduate Accountant and currently studying towards CIMA qualification with experience of managing finance teams, producing management accounts, building excel models and providing robust financial information to aid commercial decision making.
